Bonded NZ Unwrapped: Our 2024 Year-In Review + Holiday Hours
2024 has been an exciting year for Bonded NZ and the insurance market in general. As insurance brokers, we’ve seen our clients manage multiple forces in the market this year that have impacted their business.
Positive news like cash rate cuts and streamlined building consent promises better times ahead amidst the introduction of new taxes and minimum wage hikes. Throughout all this, we aim to be a consistent pillar for all our clients, providing them with tailored insurance policies that support their business at any stage.
Our key achievements
As a Kiwi-owned and operated business, we are highly fortunate to work with some of the best companies and communities in Auckland. This year, we’ve increased our efforts in client management and community engagement.

More clients
In 2024, we helped over 600 clients from all industry types protect their businesses and personal assets. We are proud of our brokerage team, who has embodied our commitment to excellent client service.
Better shareholder returns
All Bonded NZ’s shareholders are staff or clients of our organisation. This year, we’re pleased to bring value to their investments yet again, achieving an investment return of 23% for our shareholders.
Better client and claims management
Providing our existing clients with ongoing customer services is a top priority for our team. This year, we’ve settled over 200 claims for our clients, the largest of which was valued at $600,000. Bonded NZ also facilitated bonds on construction projects worth over $1b.
Giving back to our communities
We’ve consistently upheld our ongoing community development initiatives this year. Bonded NZ has donated over $20,000 to local clubs and charities to assist them with their amazing work for our community.

As the year ends, we’d like to extend our good wishes to all our clients and partners. It has been a pleasure working with our clients and providing specialist insurance support. We look forward to working together again next year and wish our clients success in the year ahead.
Our office will be closed from the 20th of December 2024 to the 6th of January 2025 in conjunction with the holidays. However, our brokerage team is still available on our mobile phones during this time.
